The firm of Henry Schadler Associates has been designing safe, affordable senior housing in conjunction with our non-profit affiliates for over twenty years.  During this period we have been the designers of over 3500 units of senior housing throughout the northeast.  

The changing needs of the residents are accommodated by a flexible, barrier-free design. Aging in place, for most residents, will not necessitate a move out of their apartments.  The following is a cross section of some of the projects we have been involved with.

Woods Edge; North Haven, CT

A forty unit affordable senior housing facility sensitive to it's residential environment.

School House Apartments; New Canaan, CT

Adaptive reuse of a former school.  The building contains senior housing with community spaces, as well as a day care facility on the first floor.
